the book was ok, and i would have given it 3 stars BUT at the end of the books was the first chapter for the 2nd book in the series.

I read it and decided to continue with the series; however, after spending 10 minutes trying to find the book i discovered it was not available on Apple or kindle!

When it comes to heartache, T. J. Kline is synonymous with delivering the goods. Ms. Kline writes literature that stimulates the mind and breaks the heart, both qualities will have a reader sit up and take notice. Daring to Fall adds mystery to an already full emotional plate. Ben and Emma are a compelling combination but with so much going on it's sometimes hard to keep the story line straight.

Routine. We all have one. A plan that helps us stay on track and gets up from point A to point B. But what happens when that becomes redundant? A person can get stuck and when something happens to break the sequence, it easy to become thrown off course. Grant is faced with a similar situation in Making the Play. An injury has left him in limbo and faced with a future beyond the field. Will a single mother with a chip on her shoulder and her adorably little boy show him the true meaning of the word "hero"? T.J. Kline gets to the bottom of what's truly important and gives the reader something to think about while doing so.… (más)

Risking It All is basically the story of good sister vs bad sister, and an overindulgent mother, but let me start from the beginning. Gia Mancuso has a baby! Not her baby, but her reckless sisters baby, Bella! The baby her sister Lorena, abandoned after 3 days! And to top the lot, the sister whole 10 years ago, caused the breakup of her engagement, to the only man she has ever loved...Andrew McQuaid.

Andrew McQuaid was shocked to find Gia heading into Hidden Falls, with a baby! He was heartbroken when Gia left, and broke off their engagement, with no reason why! But now she is back, and wants absolutely nothing to do with him!

Gia has more stress than she knows what to do with, a mother who blames her for everything wrong in her sisters life, a father who is very sick, and a business that is failing. And just when she thinks she has found her legs, her sister comes back into town, declaring that Bella's father is Andrew....but who is telling the truth!

I have to admit, it's been many a year since I have read a TJ Kline book, but literally 2 minutes into reading Risking It All, it all came back! The eloquent writing, the beautiful storyline, and the characters that could make you fall in love in a hot beat. But I have to say the complex story between Gia and Andrew really stole it for me!

Risking It ALL is a truly beautiful and heart tugging story, that everyone should read! It can totally be read as a standalone, which is exactly what I did, but don't be surprised if you go back and read the first two books too!...which is exactly what I'm planning on doing!

I give Risking It All 5 well deserved stars!
