Interesting but hard-going in places collection of essays on the protestant position on the Bible. Final essay on the transforming power of scripture is excellent.
Christopher Love was a Puritan who was martyred for his faith. Don Kistler arranges this book very interestingly by alternating chapters of letters written to or from Christopher Love, with the history of his life. He was a man of God who did not compromise his beliefs. The letters between him and his wife are beautiful.
Very good intro to the doctrine of Scripture.
