There is a lovely flow to the language in this book, excellent vocabulary, and loose rhyme. Back matter includes more information about weathering, erosion, deposition, wind, water, ice, and "other tools" nature uses to sculpt. There is also a "nature's sculpture gallery," a glossary, further reading, and photo acknowledgments. Throughout the book, each photo is captioned with its name and location.

A safe but encouraging rhyming introduction to the fascinating world of caves. See drawings of the tools of the cave explorer, the various types of limestone formations, learn the terms and etiquette of visiting caves that are safe and led by a guide. Wonderful!
The illustrations by Bonnie Kelso are fun, quite simple, brilliant, and absolutely designed for learning.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or your local public library!
