Jeremy Jordan King

King presents a fresh take on the gargoyle mythology. His characters are quirky and easy to love, though one or two are perhaps overly brooding. The history and setting are rich with detail and color, transporting the readers to this world. The plot could be slightly better developed, as some of it seems to drag or skip over important details. The freshness makes up for this, though, and will definitely keep readers interested until the very end.
