Cassy has just buried her parents. Cleaning out their house she goes to the attic where her father has trunks full of the pirate treasures he has collected. She finds a map and decides to take it to the local pawn shop to find out the value of it. She finds an antique shop there by the pawn shop. She decides to go there instead and finds herself back on a 1700's pirate ship. The captain never questions where she came from. He knows his luck has changed since she's been there.

I enjoyed this book. I liked that William spoke in the pirate dialect. I also liked that he did not question where Cassy came from or how she got on his ship. She brings her skills as a nurse to the ship and she is needed. The secondary characters are perfect for this tale. I especially liked Demetrius, William's second in command. The villains are dastardly but Cassy can take care of them. I liked how the reader knew what the thoughts of Cassy and William were.

I was glad of Cassy's decision in the end. It was a perfect solution. I look forward to reading more of the Somewhere in Time series.
