Chance returns to his pack after 10 years hoping to have an opportunity to repair relationships. Julie, who was to be his mate, is still there and he will have to deal with her with another mate. Then he learns so many truths.

I could not put this book down. I loved Chance and Julie and their increasing sexual tension. It takes Chance a long time to learn the truth about him and Julie as well as do something about it. The secondary characters are good especially his brother Brick and wife Summer and their children. I loved seeing Brick with his children. It was beautiful.

The story mostly deals with Chance and Julie trying to quell their desire for one another. Both could have been better at communicating and asking about the past but it does get resolved. I will be reading more in this series.… (más)

Rosina has been cursed so that the rain will injure her and put her in a deep sleep. Major Clay Worthington has been given the job to protect her from the marauders who wander the land since the war began over 100 years ago. No one knows why the war even began. Nicodemus, the storyteller, relates the story of why. Clay now understands why he is so attracted to Rosina but she is in a deep sleep and his feelings cannot wake her.

I enjoyed this story. It's a different take on Sleeping Beauty. I liked how both Rosina and Clay tried to save each other but it seems as though love's true kiss will not work and they are at a loss on what to do. The story of how the war started was interesting as was the connection between Rosina and Clay. I look forward to more of these Beyond Fairytales.… (más)

~ 3 Wolf’s Song Stars ~

Wolf’s Song is book four in the Black Hills Wolves by [a:Taryn Kincaid|4414704|Taryn Kincaid|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1377661184p2/4414704.jpg]. I have been reading this series out of order. Each book can stand-a-lone and gives a little tast of the authors writing and the wolves of Black Hills.

Wolf’s Song is an insta-love, so the story is quick with very little substances or conflict, but that is what we get with insta-loves. I enjoyed this novella. It was a nice, sweet, and quick romance. The story is endearing and I like that Summer and Brick found each other. They became friends and then mates. I did notice that the turmoil between the cats and wolves was glossed over. I would have liked more on this issue.

Wolf’s Song was a good read. If you are looking for a PNR fix that is quick and sweet, then this is for you.
