I have mixed feelings about this book, I almost gave it a two but I also wanted to give it a four as well. Usually, I just go through my feelings about the book but I think this time I will split it into pros and cons to really be able to sort out my feelings for it.

Pros: I really like Kelly's writing. Both Lucy and Aiden seem like real people despite being characters in a book. Even their jobs, a hairdresser [Lucy] and Physical Therapist [Aiden], seem believable. Their interactions, conversations, and actions were exactly what I picture people today would act. I also like their use of tinder and the thoughts surrounding the dating app.

Cons: This book deals with a number of different topics; Self-Harm, Sexual Harassment, Eating Disorders, and Casual Sex. None of these get talked about or resolved. Also, Lucy discovers something about halfway in that she should have told him. I was waiting for the reveal but it never came and that just upset me. Also, The whole 'falling' part of the book takes place in the very last part of this novel and there's nothing that really gets the address and I was left wanting and unfulfilled.

One thing I do want to address is that this book is VERY short. It took me under an hour to completely finish it and I thought I had only received a sample of the book and actually couldn't believe that it just ended, however when I saw that there were 5 books it occurred to me that all the books may be really short. I got this book through Kindle unlimited so I was not too upset to discover this the length of this book. The actual price is 99 cents which isn't too bad, but I just thought I should warn you all.

I don't fault an author when books are short, I know it takes a lot of effort to write so I don't want to complain. I just want to tell you everything. Overall, I will continue the series but now I'll be more prepared with the shortness of the book.… (más)

So I read the first book in the series, and I had mixed emotions but liked it enough to continue. I will say I did like this book, but it suffers from most of the last problems of the last book. It's still really short, and I can use this series for in-between longer reads but it takes me under an hour to actually read it.

I will say I am a bit disappointed in Aiden, yeah he finds himself attracted to his best friend, but it seems like he stopped caring about Lucy as a person and now just wants to have some naughty time. Lucy, on the other hand, is right to have reservations, she has some baggage that I won't spoil so she's worried about Aiden finding out about it. BUT SHE ALSO IS THINKING ABOUT THEIR FRIENDSHIP.

Aiden just seems like a horndog and just keeps pushing Lucy. Sometimes it is cute and other times it's kinda creepy. I'll continue to read it but I really hope his attitude gets better. Think with your big brain Aiden please!… (más)

This is the first part in a six part serial. I hope it gets better because I did not like this first installment. Wyatt comes across as not only rude and crass but the kind of man that sends blaring red flags to most women. With thought's like 'I'd never met a woman more in need of some dick,' 'not my typical target' and 'She needed to be knocked down a peg or two.' it's even creepier.

Not my cuppa, but as I've been given an ARC copy of the complete series I am hoping it gets better.

From other reviews I've read it's suppose to get better but I just didn't want to read anymore. I may try again at a later date and if I do I will update my review but at this point I'm done.
