This book provides an interesting perspective on US History, but it seems to concede that our history is, after all, despicable. Perhaps it is simply because its focus was to separate Christianity from the motives evident in US History. As far as it went, I found it enlightening and thought-provoking. But it is not a book you will read lightly.
