" The end is nothing, the road is all." That was Willa Cather's quote at the end of the book, and its also how she lived her life. One of my favorite classical authors ( think My Antonia ) she lived life on her terms, accepted the struggles with the decisions she made , and OHHHhhhhh what a life she had! Her travels, friends and acquaintances, all make an impression and yet she stuck close to her roots both figuratively and literally. It was her mid-western life that took hold of her heart and soul both in life and in her writing.
The book is well-written, concise and keeps you curious.… (más)
