This was a cute and quick read about a carefree spirit Dash who I absolutely fell in love with as soon as we meet him. He is a laid back, go with the flow kind of person, and there are so many rumors out there about him because of this attitude and Kat falls into one of those who judges a book. Kat was a tough and amazing character but the way she hated to be judged she could be judge mental of others from time to time. Dash was a beautiful souls who taught Kat it was ok to go with the flow and love in the moment and Kat started to learn more about herself with the help of Dash.… (más)

With the beginning of this read you know you will be in for a ride and while it does start a little lighthearted the emotions these characters draw out of the readers is real and intense. Jake has a past that he never really recovered from yet with the love from his family he settled in a role of the laidback club owner who never wants to settle down. Paisley is a woman who has been through some things and after enduring it she knows exactly what she wants in her life and refuses to let anyone say or do anything to sway her path. Jake has a lot he needs to face head on instead of running and Paisley must learn to let others in, but together they help each other learn so much and grow as individuals. This story had its fun times, definite steamy times, but the real raw emotions is what really drew me in.… (más)

It was a good story. I really liked Dusty and most of the side characters. Celine wasn't my type of girl, but she was alright.

I didn't read the first books in the series, but I had no trouble understanding who was who or getting the general picture of the makeshift family at the mill.

The book was enjoyable, and I had no trouble getting to the end. It was engaging and had the right amount of steam.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.… (más)

Like with the other books in the series, Colton's story has been woven through the other quints' books. And especially through Adam - when I got to the end of it, and Adam was ready to have his happy ending, and then Colton had his accident...I definitely didn't see that coming! I wasn't sure what was in store for him, but I was hoping for the best - he's always been quiet, in the background, feeling different, and he deserved to find some happiness. He met Keely, and things started to take off. And then Jody Kaye threw in some more twists and turns that caught me way off guard!… (más)
