I love cats and thought this was a very simplified book on how cats take care of themselves. I describes how they take care of themself and that they are in the same family as bigger cats such as lions and tigers. My daughter loved this book when she was little.

This book talked of how a cat is independent but very caring and motherly to her kittens. It tells how cats are curious and their ability to pretty much take care of themself. It talked of kittens being playful and that they are a very clean animal.

This book could be used in a lesson about different kinds of cats, and showing children that lions and tigers are big, but in the same family as domestic cats even though they are much smaller. The book could be a segment in a classroom about students learning about a variety of domesticated animals and give them the oppertunity to talk about their own pets. Art work could also be incorportated around Halloween when making cats for decorations for the classroom.… (más)
