This book is suitable for a small child. It is not useful for serious study.

This was on the shelf when I was a child, and I spent many hours perusing the pictures and descriptions. I learned much from this book. I hope my grandkids might enjoy it, too!

Fascinating view of the world as seen by Americans filled with pride and self-confidence (self-satisfaction?) in the post WWII glow of success. Allies had triumphed over Fascism, but Communism loomed large next.

This may be of interest to people want to know where the good fishing and hunting were 40 years ago. I suspect their numbers are small.
