Noelene Johnsson

In his own words, the president of the North American division tells his favorite stories. He recalls people who influenced his life. He pauses to remember triumphs for the blacks in America and in this church. And he shares the most important lessons he's learned in Adventist leadership. Wit; "There was a preacher who had given what he thought was a very great sermon. As he and his wife were walking home to the Mance, he said to her, 'You know, there are very few great preachers in the world.' "She said, 'And one less than you think, my dear.'" Wisdom: "ministry is bringing out the best in people. It means bringing out their gifts, employing these gifts and skills. It means seeing people better off and more equipped to serve when we leave a parish and when we go to the parish." Wit: "I love it when a little lady comes to the GC complex, looks around, and says,' I'm just looking to see how you are taking care of my property.'"… (más)
