Well if you read Amazon's book discription you know more about what the book is about then if I told you anything in this review. It is so hard to write a rewiew of a short story because you don't want to give any spoilers.

Let me just say the short story was pretty well written, as with the other stories written by Ms. Johnson, this one had even more potential to be longer. The 3* is for the shortness not the plot of the story.

There is a formatting issue on the Kindle, but it didn't hurt the story.… (más)

I think of the short stories that I have read of Ms. Johnson's this is my favorite. Still not long enough but enjoyable.

Rory has finally agreed to a girls night out with her best friend. Rory has been broken up wih her girlftiend of two years for six months. While she is standing at the bar waiting for her drink order, she gets bumped from behind. As she turns around ready to cold cock someone she sees Kizzie. Okay now you are going to have to read to find out.....the rest of the story.

Raine has a close group of friends but no girl friend. See meets one of her best friends, Amy's, Aunt Alana that has just moved to New York from Texas. You must read the short story to see what happens next.

I must disagee with the reviewer that stated there was no punctuation marks. If you open the sample you will find the first sentence in the story is a question with a "?" mark.

The only problem I had with the story, it just wasn't long enough.

Bethany is late for first period so she must get a note to go to class. As she is waiting for her turn a teacher ask if she is going to Chemistry class. When she answers yes, she is asked to show the new girl, Blaise to the class. You will need to read the short story to find out how Bethany and her homophopic friends deal with Blaise.

I would have given 4* except for the paragraph issue, one run into the next, at times you would have to stop to figure out who was specking which line. Also I wish the story had been a little longer.… (más)
