I loved the instant connection that Nick had with Joey. The way he cared for him even when their first meeting was simply a hook-up. Joey isn't "out" and was nervous that someone was going to recognize him in the club and tell everyone.

After a second-chance meeting, they make an agreement to be each other's exclusive hook up until Joey says stop if he chooses. Joey has struggled with his personal issues and Nick sees how it effects him and takes the lead with Joey's insistance.

Although this is a short story, the spice is definitely in full-force and I don't think I will be able to look at cinnamon rolls the same either!.

Asher and Eli meet up again after not seeing each other for 6 years. Eli has a lot of pent up anger and hurt over the way Asher had left after his brother's accident and doesn't want to forgive him. When both are sent to Black Diamond Resort to get away from their scandals, they are forced to share a room which in turn causes them to talk about their feelings about the past and present.

This is a great start to the Unlucky/Black Diamond Resort series and I can't wait to read the others!.

I definitely am not the public for this kind of book, I forced my hand reading bully romance because I thought it was something I needed to try, but I definitely didn't liked it. I was struggling with how many stars to rate this, but the writing style and the plot per se were not a problem, the whole power dynamics about the couple and the twisted things that Roman does that made me hate it, so I think that, if this kind of kinky is what you like, so be my guest.
I think MAYBE I'll read the other 2 books, one with a trans lead character and another with the poly relationship, but for now this is as much as I can get of this kind of twisted relationships. Definitely not my vibe.… (más)
