Everyone knows the logo and the phrase Life is Good. The book tells the story of the two brothers, Bert and John and how they started the company. Their philosophy is optimism and the book is all about how to love what you do and do what you love.

Life is Good donates "100% of its profit from the sale of this book to the Life is good Kids Foundation, established to help children facing unfair challenges." I spent an hour at the store where the book-signing was held, watching members of the group playing catch with a huge beach ball and performing guitar music and eating cookies, then had my book signed by the most ruggedly attractive young red-headed man with the largest smile I have ever seen (John Jacobs). It's also the only book I ever read start-to-finish during a 20 city-block car ride. Haha.
