For kids who love dogs, or those who love vehicles, I think it would be very well received. There's not much in the way of story here, but it's great for learning the names of different types of vehicles, or just looking at the pictures.

Each page features a dog and its ride. A pickup, a minivan, a convertible, an eighteen-wheeler, a fire truck, a jeep, a police car, a sports car, a scooter, a small car, an RV. Each dog loves their ride and tells you about it in fun rhymes. All vehicles are headed to a dog's favorite place-a dog park. This book would be great for a preschool story time and definitely for anyone who loves dogs. The pictures are colorful and fun. Each car takes up most of the page spread and details are there to explore and talk about in each picture. Different breeds of dogs are used as well.
