The author provides an overview of ethics. Even though this is supposed to be a survey, the author provides his biases. I was hoping for more information on the development of ethical theories versus ethical issues. I learned some and consider the book useful.

Habermas's prose CAN sometimes be a chore, and Ingram does a fine job of recasting some of his major points and bring together some of the disparate streams of his work.
