This book was fun facts about Ants. I let my youngest son look through my books and he picked this one out. I let him read it out loud to me and he was fascinated with all the facts about ants. I like the way the book is set up. The illustrations are neat, informative, and help reiterate what the sentences are stating.
This book touches on many aspects of an ants life. It talks about their survival, reproduction, and habitat. It shows pictures of ants making a nest, caring for young, and attacking when provoked.
This book is for young readers and would not be beneficial in a high school Biology class. It would be a good book to use when doing a lecture on ecology, because it shows ants in their habitat and how they use and survive in it.… (más)
