This book gives you exactly what the title says: women living with self-injury. The interviews are raw and truthful. The author doesn't provide new, exciting insights into the world, but I wasn't looking for nor wanting them.
I saw myself and my actions in many of the women, and that was exactly what I was needing. To give clarity to our situations, a voice to our 'addiction', and perhaps allow others to begin to understand.
