Deanna Hurst

I actually wasn’t expecting to the like this one so my rating probably has a lot to do with this aspect. This a fun, light and enjoyable contemporary romance. I highly recommend this book if you need something to bring you back from a darker read.

Min and Cal are an adorable couple but this book is made by the supporting characters. Min and Cal’s friends are all unique individuals that support certain romance trope stereotypes but in a wholly likable manner. The book also does a great job of debating the science of attraction/love with the fairy tale side of attraction/love. I just really enjoyed the story and the lighthearted feel to the book.

There were several times as I was leaving work for the day that I was excited to get back to the book. The narrator Deanna Hurst was really good and gave strong voices to each character to help build an image in my mind.… (más)
