Pooh and Piglet have a fun day searching for things that start with the letters of the alphabet in order, taking time for a picnic of course. Lively rhymes and loads of alliteration keep the story moving along. And if you can find the audio component -- usually on audiocassette tape from the ones I've seen -- there's a cute little "Alphabet Day" song that I have on rotation in my music shuffle.

A nice little audiobook set with booklet, CD, and audiocassette. The writer was actually able to tuck little stories around a march through the alphabet, counting to ten, and listing shapes. But the sprightly songs between the stories are the main attraction for me; they all come up regularly in my daily music mix, making for a nice contrast to Mozart, Metallica, Paramore, and Johnny Cash.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
