Shadia Hrichi has written a Bible devotional about Legion, the one who lived inside a man tormenting him all the time. I have always been fascinated by this story and Jesus’ response. This six-week study is broken down into days, and each day is estimated to take about 30 to 45 minutes to complete.

I feel this study would work well for either an individual study or as a group study. I personally think this would be an excellent study to do in a group because it would allow you to bounce ideas around and see what stands out to other people.

I loved how she even includes tips for scheduling the study broken down by commitment levels of light, moderate, in-depth, and even an all-in. So if you have a day where you do not have a lot of time you could do the light

So if you are looking for a study that not only looks at Legion but examines how God could allow all the suffering on this earth to take place. Check out this study for yourself.

Shadia Hrichi leads us through a study of Legion, a man we know by the name of the demons who tormented him. Each day includes teaching and expounding biblical truth and opportunities throughout to interact with those biblical truths through fill-in the blanks, as well as pondering quotes and answering questions pertaining to them. She provides plenty of space for answering all of the questions. Each week ends with a Lesson Summary that directs you to a Scripture, statement, or thought that was most significant to you. I love the space in the margins of each page that enable you to write notes and there is a “notes” pages. At the end of each week, she shares a worship song, which I really appreciated.

This is a very well researched and written study with a structure and layout that makes it easy to follow and work through. I highly recommend this study for individual, small or large group study.
