Biografía breve
For most of his 30-year career, Terry was a California Department of Fish and Game patrol lieutenant, supervising wardens in two Northern California counties. But unlike most supervisors, he was never content behind a desk, much preferring field work and leading his wardens from the front. He was a pilot, flying hundreds of hours, mostly at night, spotting violators from the air and directing his wardens in to make the arrests.

Terry has received national writing awards and was three times chosen Writer of the Year by Outdoor Writers Association of California (OWAC). In addition to his seven books, he has been a regular contributor to the magazine OUTDOOR CALIFORNIA. He served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard, much of it in Alaskan waters, and he received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Sacramento.

In 2006, he was inducted into the California Outdoor Hall of Fame.

For those readers that can't get enough of CJ box, (Wyoming) Paul Dorion(Maine)or Joseph Heywood,(UP of Michigan) or watch the game warden shows on television, Terry Hodges is for you.
The California Game Warden writes true accounts of game wardens in the Warden Force series.
This is the 9th book in the series: The worst of the Worst and other true game Warden adventures.

Equal parts entertaining and terrifying, read about the many devious ways criminals try to poach wildlife; and how game wardens have to get creative when catching them by thinking on their feet in a wide variety of scenarios the average law abiding hunter and fisherman would never think of.
Whether illegally hunting wild boar, deer or snagging salmon, after reading these wildlife encounters, you will want to rush out and get the rest of the books in the series.
Terry Hodges should seriously consider hosting a podcast. With stories so entertaining, the podcast would attract alot of listeners.

This is the second book in the series that I have read. I think that I enjoyed this one even MORE than I did the first one! Hodges has a talent for making you feel like you are right alongside the game wardens as they do their investigations. Easy read, great stories!

What an interesting book! It was entertaining along with being informative. I had very little knowledge of what Game Wardens actually do and now know so much more. I will definitely be reading more of this series! I highly recommend these books for anyone who enjoys reading and also enjoys learning something new in an interesting way!

Very interesting read. It held me spellbound way past my bedtime. This book is full of true personal accounts of Game Wardens and how they do their jobs. Very entertaining book! This is the first book that I have read by Terry Hodges but it won’t be the last.
