27 of 75 for 2015. What a great book to listen to while driving around exploring the country on your own. Hillinger traveled to all 50 states plus Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and, of course, DC, and met and talked with people everywhere he went. This is the book where you learn about Delaware's Hundreds, a political division that no other state has. In his section on Montana, he talked about people I know and have visited with. (Of course, Montana is a very small town with very long streets.) I thoroughly enjoyed hearing these wonderful vignettes about our country.… (más)
Pretty good cross-section of articles, with a balance between history and natural science. I'm not sure if audio is as good a format, but for someone who cannot read regular print, the author/narrator does a good job of maintaining interest over nearly 10 hours.
