A great story about the origin of the American flag, and the many different people who were behind it's origin and the stories and symbols that surround how it came to be. It shares the stories of who made the flag, what outcomes came from it's origin, and also the importance and meaning that it has for the American people. On each page there is often a star that contains did you know facts. These facts tell the reader interesting and often important and unknown detailed facts about the falg and the people in it's history. It is a very educational book and a great read for studying American Revolution and our country's beginnings.
