I did not love the first story and its 'mystical realism' elements, which didn't bode well for the rest of the book. There were a couple of stories I enjoyed--the one with the hitchhikers and the one where the guy realized he was a ghost. I didn't finish the book but had to return it this weekend. I just couldn't get into this book---maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it or something.
