This is one of the first books I've read about doing good work and with purpose that didn't make me want to hyperventilate at the weight of it all. It actually helped me shelve my anxiety around living life "right" a bit. Quick read - worth the time.

One of the better books I've read, with advice you can actually use! The basic ideas, creativity should have a rhythm to it, meaning that you need some boundaries and ways to keep that rhythm going. I found myself nodding at the advice, but also forgetting it as soon as I left it. Requires a second reading to really get it under your skin.

Herding Tigers is all about taking that creative force that resides in every organization, giving it a shared purpose and freeing it to thrive. Creative people need two things: stability and challenge. It's up to the leader to cultivate an environment with meaning, boundaries, resources, and measurement.
