The purpose of this book is to instruct desktop publishers on the basics of what works well in document design. This is not an idea book - it's meant to be read through completely so that the user will have a better understanding of the distinctions, priorities and logical progression involved in publication design. I think the book does a good job of doing what it is supposed to do.
