An old favourite from childhood. Now they're a bit too simple for me, but I have fond memories of this book. It has different difficulty levels and a cast of characters including a naughty cockatoo. Unfortunately I wrote in some of the pages as a kid.

As a child, I wasn't privy to such knowledge, and just looked up all the keys in the answer section. But it's the kind of knowledge that sticks in your mind, so reading it this time I couldn't forget what the keys were for each puzzle. It's more fun to read this and find all the little things that Heimann hides in the pages - the ones that the book tells you about like the bird's name, but also the hidden ones like a little outline of Australia that he hides everywhere. The puzzles are too easy for me now but pretty good for children.
