What do you get when you have insanely hot, super protective, loyal guys with a bromance for the ages? You get this amazing series, and this book is just the beginning. When Rory sets out to get the evidence, she needs to prove that the things she stated to the Dean were true she doesn’t expect the journey she is about to embark on. Rory knows that unfortunately it’s a man’s world especially when she goes toe to toe with a Westbrook Elite Swimmer because they are held above the gods and receive special treatment in all they do. Ryan Walsh is one of the best Freestyle swimmers at school, so when he saves Rory’s life in the pool, he does it in style and is instantly connected with her. Ryan and Rory almost immediately have this intense connection that bonds them, yet Rory is hesitant because he is teammates with the guy who is trying to bring her down. I loved watching Ryan fall head over heels for Rory because once he was in, he was all the way in, protecting her, and loving her. The suspense will hold you captive until the very end and while waiting to see what will happen next you will find yourself falling for Ryan and all his possessive/protective ways. The bromance between Ryan and Jamie had me from the time they first stepped on scene together because it reminded me so much of Liam and Alex with a little Brayden thrown in the mix. It was funny and fun to see them interact with their banter, but when it came to standing up for the innocent and letting them be heard they were all seriousness. This book isn’t only about the steam and suspense the message about women not being heard because of elite individuals or just being women in the man’s world was beautifully portrayed and showed the struggle is still very much real, but there are those few willing to step up and say we stand with the injustice women receive and we won’t let this slide. I fell in love with these characters, and I know the author is going to take us on an epic journey throughout this series letting us into their world.… (más)

Back with the Westbrook Elite Bros and the gang is always an epic time but Win and Lar’s story might be one of my favorites. When they first meet Lars is carrying a huge chip on his shoulders that makes him feel a tad resentful having to put up with Win, but when Win takes up for him and shows him his fun goofy side Lars sees there is more to this guy that intrigues him. Their time in Sweden together is one we only get glimpses of but its moments that are pivotal to their bond they have. Win comes off as this fun guy that seems like he has no care in the world, yet deep down hides a darker side that has him afraid of committing. Lars is this amazing, kind, and gentle guy who hides his past behind the shadows that haunt him, and you automatically love him and want to hold him. Together things seem like they may not work with Win’s fear of losing others and Lars need to be safe but when push comes to shove, and Win knows he can’t let Lars go again these two are all consuming. This story was emotionally beautiful that will have your heart breaking one second to laughing with all the bros the next. The author handles their insecurities, triggers, and the cultural differences brilliantly while making it easy to fall in love with them and all the gang.… (más)

Daeshim and Beau have been tiptoeing that fine line between love and hate for a while now and neither knows how to act upon it. Should they fight it out of their systems, kill each other, or is there another option like passion? The tension that bleeds between these two flies off the pages and sinks into your soul like it’s tangible, but with so many secrets and pain between them will it ever be more? Shim isn’t a good person, he’s done bad things, but learning more about him you see there’s a person that is goodish. Beau has had secrets for a long time, trying to hold it all together while suffering with anxiety weighing on his shoulders daily, yet one person “…helps calm the chaos” and that’s Shim. Shim can see Beau like into his soul and knows he is hiding secrets just not exactly what they are so when the tension becomes too much Shim slowly gets Beau to open up and it isn’t what he was expecting. Beau is scared his secrets will make his one and only family hate him and cast him out, but he knows he has to be truthful to them. He has always craved the attention and love from someone and he got that in some ways by his self made family but only Shim truly saw him and cave him that. When it all comes out and all the secrets laid bare will Beau lose those he loves or will they stand by him to help him take down those vile people doing horrible things? This story was not only super hot and steamy, but the love they had for each other was so raw and pure it made my heart and soul happy. This author knows how to take a story and make you fall in love with every character and they never let you go which you don’t want them to.… (más)

The Elite Bros are back and with Kruger being the center of attention I just knew we would have a lot of laughs and quite possibly some intense moments. Kruger is a bit of a jokester but he has a heart of gold especially when it comes to the girl he has been in love with for years and his buddy Prism. These two hold a special place in his heart and the others in the group do as well but Kruger has known these two the longest. Jess has always loved Kruger but kept it to herself since she comes from the wrong side of the tracks and is always trying to prove her worth, but her love for Kruger has never faded no matter how hard she has tried to ignore it. When things take a twist and Jess is hurt it’s Kruger who steps in to be the one to take care of her no matter what. He has a lot to lose if she realizes the things he has kept from her but he is hopeful his final girl will stay final girl in the long run. The suspense was intense like it always is with the Elite, but seeing Kruger’s possessive side really had me falling in love. He was so over the top like the rest of the guys but he had the humor to match Jamie. Such a great read and my heart hurt for Prism which I can’t wait to read his story.… (más)
