The Floating Island por Richard Head
A journey through london to avoid debtors jail is interpreted as a sea voyage. Kind of like gullivers travels i guess but not very interesting.
An account of the life of a professional thief, narrated in the first person, but in fact by Richard Head, author of the English Rogue, and many other amusing contributions to the low-life literature of the Restoration. Head also published an important canting dictionary, and the episodic narrative here is full of the colorful vocabulary with which he was familiar. At the end is a section of advice to travellers and inn-keepers on how to protect themselves from itinerant thieves.
A rather comprehensive set that details the exploits of men and women of unfortunate criminal tendencies.
