This book has amazing illustrations. This book goes through the curiosity of flowers and plants. I would recommend this book for 3rd-5th because of the little words on each page. This book can teach students about flowers because this book shows facts about flowers/plants. I can imagine students looking at this book enjoying the beautiful illustrations.

Book for lower primary. Not my most favorite book, but still great. Little girl goes on an adventure where she talks all about the beauty of flowers.

I thought that this book would be good for primary children. I was an easy read and great for teaching children about the importance of nature and growth. This book is about a little girl who really takes a second to look at the flowers, and nature. she asks a lot of why and wondering questions about the flowers. She thinks about herself as a flower and how she would be if she was one.

2022 Caldecott Honor Book

The illustrations are vibrant and almost a little overwhelming. The story is about a girl leaving the grey city to explore outdoors. The book uses all senses to explore flowers of various kinds. Sometimes the shift between metaphors is jarring, but there is a lot in this book for a reader to explore. I am always on the lookout for books for storytime - this is not a storytime book. While I don't think this would work well with a group, it would be interesting to share this story one-on-one.
