This beautifully illustrated book features an attached clock face with movable plastic hands, conveniently located on a fold out cardboard flap so it can be manipulated from each page to match the illustrated timepieces in the story. Quite attractive to young children. Mama cat, the narrator of the story, keeps a close eye on the clock and makes sure she and her human family never miss a meal or a snack. One of the charming things about the book is that in the family's daily schedule, something is going on every hour (from 6 am to midnight), but occasionally things also happen at times like 2:15.
