Favorite Poems from English and American authors … por Elmo
Harlen Flanagan found and purchased this book in 1965. No date, but could be 1886; 1892; or 1900 - most likely 1892 since the most similar edition was 1900 and publisher had changed to Donohue, Henneberry & Co. Book still has protective sheet between front drawing and title page. Condition very delicate. Includes many famous and well loved poems.
Victorian poems. Some familiar ones, many more interesting for insight into what the late Victorian editor thought would become "universal favorites".
