August Hahn (1) (1971–)

This is basically a cheap, "no frills" reprint of the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5Ed. Players Handbook. It is fully compatible with the d20 system, but due to the terms of the "open gaming" and "d20" licensing agreements it can not be technically called a "d20" game.

The book is paperback and physically smaller as well coming in at about 8.5" x 10.5". Still, all the relevant information is in there, though without pictures or unnecessary (a.k.a. "flavor") text.

My only complaint about this book is that the indexing is not very "robust". As a result it's difficult to find certain topics I generally have an easy time locating in the official version.
