Many easy-to-figure-out, imaginative activities to occupy a youngster, grouped into six categories: self-image (includes birthday party gifts and games), independence (includes recipes), skill-building (puzzles, crayons, paints), traveling, moving, and quiet time (making-up-a-story ideas, reading, puppets). The instructions are very clear, and the ideas are great. The only catch for a parent: finding time to read through it!!! (JAF)
