Because of the benefit of hindsight, the majority of the poems here have a good level of depth, and I can spend a long time coming back to the same poems over and over.
Frustrations: Some of the poems included are hardly worth it though. Like Ondaatje's "Flitflitflitflit very fast" poem. No depth. I am not impressed.
Also, Pauline Johnson wasn't included. HelLO Ralph, Pauline Johnson. I think she is a very fine poet and much deserving of inclusion, at least as much as Drummond.… (más)
