The thing about diabetic cookbooks is that doctors are so contradictory. They say, "Oh, your daughter has type 1? She should eat like a normal child. Artificial sweeteners are not necessarily better. Carb counting is key." Then you see things like this book. Do you need it? No one seems to know.
