Skyler Grant

Yet another terrible LitRPG book from Skyler Grant. Quantity of publishing over quality is not the way to go. Skylers book concepts are good. Implementation is poor.

This was good it reminds me of a science fiction version of the old game Dungeon Keeper, which was one of my favorite games back when it came out. It’s also the first Dungeon Core sub genre books that I’ve read. It was too short, a little over two hours to read so I’m starting on book 2 now. I think that if books 2 & 3 are as good as this first one all three combined might be a four star novel.

This is only the 2nd dungeon core book I’ve read but in my opinion when is a dungeon core not a dungeon core when the dungeon moves then it becomes an ordinary adventure. This book was short and action packed so no character development to speak of.
After the conclusion of the book with Emma now back on Earth I have high hopes that this will be more Dungeon Corish
Onwards to book 3.

The first three books in this series would be four or four and a half stars if released as one book instead of three. If you liked the first two you’ll enjoy this one as well.
