I always liked coloring books, but it’s been difficult to find them in the kid’s section with smaller detailing. Boy was I looking in the wrong place. I had no idea these existed until recently.

With this you get 50 pages of beautiful, intricate designs with each taking many hours to fill in. Each page is blank on the back so no messing up another design while filling in the current one. I’m using colored pencils which is working out well.

Stress relief? Definitely. This is so relaxing that everything else just falls by the wayside. I know what I’ll be getting a couple of people for Christmas this year.… (más)

I started off my coloring book hobby with Balance by the same author. It has unique patterns that are repeated within a circular or squared off shape that I find incredibly relaxing to work on. I’ve even pulled this out when really upset and within a short period of time was no longer thinking of the distressing issue.

Centered is a continuation of the circular or squared off repeating patterns from the prior book. 50 designs per book with the back of each page blank.

Colored pencils work really well in these designs as some of the details get pretty small and intricate. What’s really cool is that it doesn’t matter if you don’t feel you can put 2 colors together. Do what you want, it doesn’t matter. And often things that you think might turn out bad because of the “wrong color” turn out to be really cool.

The only thing that might make this better is perforations on the sheet to remove a page from the book to make it easier to fill in the design, although quite frankly I do like having the pages in one place.

I’ve recommended these to friends and they’re enjoying these books as well.… (más)
