This was an absorbing book from the first page. Because Godfrey is a doctor as well as, she mentions, having experienced some of her own postpartum issues, she writes almost obviously, about something she is familiar with....medicine and the ups and downs of the profession, not only as a doctor, as Caleb and Lilian both are, but also as a patient. Rosie is a fascinating character with her condition, especially with the mystary of who she is so afraid of. Definitely a book that is hard to put down once you start reading!… (más)

I really thought this book was fun and engaging. I liked the inclusion of social media and the influencer culture because it was a different take. I mean for one it starts to make you think about the things you choose to post on social media. It is also an interesting look at how secrets can impact relationships. I felt really bad for Molly's character in this story because Liv has ulterior motives for meeting her and Scott is clearly hiding something from her. At the same time, her entire social media persona is taking a hit because she isn't being as authentic with her followers as she used to be.
The book was a little slow for me at times and didn't always feel like a thriller at times. We learn Scott's secrets pretty early on and it doesn't feel like the big mystery that it was being built up as. However, we do have another player who we don't uncover the identity of until the end of the book, and boy that was a plot twist that I was not expecting. I think it made for an interesting turn of the story, I just wish that it had been a bit more detailed, it seemed to end so quickly. The story sends a lot of time focusing on Molly's social media posting and how people are tracking her. Then randomly we switch to the huge reveal at the end and speed through an ending.
Overall I enjoyed the story and think it's intriguing and different. I just was lacking the feel of a thriller for most of the story. It has a broad cast of characters and really took some surprising turns if I'm being honest. I would say it's a book I would recommend for sure.

Good read ! Story sucked me in and held my attention until the end. I think the story was a little different than how it’s portrayed (secrets and lies between sisters) and that’s okay. Didn’t see that twist coming.

Another first time author that I hope continues to write stories like this one.
