Pliny Earle Goddard

This is a very good book to use for an introduction to the native peoples of the southwest. It hits all the major points necessary to identify the groups indigenous to this area. It is not a "cure all to end all" as far as definitions go. If a particular group that interests you ethnologically is not covered in depth then you will have to research other texts that are more in detail with what you're interested in. It is an introduction and a fairly good one at that in that it leaves you wanting more.… (más)
