The sets and costumes are great, and there is a dedicated effort to try and replicate Bach's era, although there can't help but be some cultural anachronisms, especially in the way Bach develops his need for unfettered artistic control of his compositions.

The story is focused on a young boy (age about 12?) who is assigned to be Bach's assistant because of his many escapades that embarrass his father, a steward of the Duke.

Very well suited for youth and even older children, because the boy learns both that he can pursue his own dreams but needn't be a total rebel to do it.… (más)
