A cheerful, chatty book with lots of anecdotes in the style of "So-and-so, a successful person in the field of such-and-such, had a problem, but then solved it." It's nice to read a book by a Canadian author (the anecdotes are often in the form of "So-and-so of Toronto" etc, which makes it relatable). But I have difficulty believing the anecdotes are real after reading "'Like, tech's happenin, man, it's cool', a with-it, wired-in adolescent told me." Say what? Anyone who was a with-it teen in 1972 when people last said things were "happening', man" (a time when "tech" meant a technical college) is a senior citizen by now, and if they're still talking that way they seriously burnt out their brain on drugs back in the day...… (más)
