Demon Hunting in a Dive Bar por Lexi George
Apparently I started in the middle of a series. I've had the book on my kindle for a while and just grabbed it without checking to see if it was part of a series. That said, I could still follow the story. I just didn't know the backstory of some of the characters. I enjoyed the book mainly because I liked the characters. I doubt I'll go back and read the previous books (unless they're lurking somewhere on my kindle as well) but I would read other books by this author.

Demon Hunting series #3. Paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series.
Rebekah runs a bar where everyone is welcome from the zombie, to the ghost and harbinger. But when Conall walks into the bar, he’s attracted to Beck against his instincts. He has a lot to learn.
Funny, and wacky southernisms while the paranormal “people” try to live their lives. Beck is a strong heroine, protecting her friends from the demon hunter tho she can’t seem to resist him. An enjoyable read and addition to the series. A hook at the end that will have you reaching for the next book.… (más)

I requested a copy of this book from NetGalley before realizing it was part of a series, let alone the sixth (and maybe final?) book in the series. After they approved me, I realized my error. Despite never having heard of the Demon Hunting series or Lexi George, I pressed on because the book summary really had me wanting to read it.
It’s marketed as a paranormal romance, but I think it had more in common with high fantasy romance.

I hope the author meant this book to be funny. Because I laughed a lot. I can only assume she did, given the sheer absurdity of many characters and events.
