Book written in 2000 so not necessarily up-to-date for current year. It does contain good basic information to share with children. Parents should review content before deciding to allow their children to read it.

Another creepy-surreal cover.

I really don't know what to say about this one other than it's a reading primer, it's as awful as you'd expect, and if the cover is to be believed, gangs are composed of a multiethnic assortment of smiling teens, at least one of whom is in a wheelchair.

The whole Perspectives on Violence series is an exercise in surreal dust-jacket design.
