This sequel to Race Against Time (a time travel story going back to 1800's Missouri), takes place in 2002 during the Winter Olympics preparations. Security is tight and everyone thinks Owen Richards, a police officer, is losing it when he keeps saying he sees Raymond Hunt who killed his partner. Everyone else thinks the man died after disappearing in a culvert. In the meantime, his romance with Julianna McCray starts to take off and his baptism is imminent. All the hanging threads of the first book are finished off in this sequel. I love Willard's sense of humor, it makes his books a delight to read.… (más)
