125 Years of Canadian Aeronautics (A Chronology 1840-1965) takes you through what many would consider the golden years of Canadian aviation – a time when Canada not only embraced flying but also reached a pinnacle of aviation engineering with the development of the CF-105 Avro Arrow.

The reader will note advanced experimental aircraft and yes, even a flying saucer, all designed, built and flown in Canada, before the last few years show the change to purchasing other country’s products.

The information is listed by item with a few lines describing each event as you move through the years, in a clear, simple to read format.

This book is a collaborative effort by members of the Canadian Aviation Historical Society with G.A. Fuller, J.A. Griffin and K.M. Molson listed as the authors while other members also worked on the project and they are listed on the inside jacket.

This is a great reference work as a lead in to further research as the basic information compiled can be used to enable a successful internet search for more material.
