His books include Thing of Beauty: The Tragedy of Supermodel Gia, Appetite for America: Fred Harvey and the Business of Civilizing the Wild West-One Meal at a Time, Bitter Pills: Inside the Hazardous World of Legal Drugs, The New Rabbi, and Husbandry.
